Tuesday night.
In a rare, rare event for me, I left work early and went to the doctor. As expected, he said it is just a cold and I should give it a few more days to pass. All the vitals were fine. The chest, throat and ears are clear. This was the first time I’ve been to a general doctor since, well, a year or two before I left Aurora. What I meant by that previous quote.
I was at the local mall tonight, a mall that the current owners admit is near failure. I can’t disagree with them. A week before Christmas at 7 p.m. on a Monday there were maybe two dozen people walking the common areas of a more than 250,000-square-foot mall. Runny Nose.
So, this was supposed to be the Friday my girlfriend and I were finally healthy after fighting colds. Nope. Mine got stronger today. I feel fine. I just can’t stop my nose from running. All this means a night alone in my apartment watching bad TV. That’s fun sometimes, but not when germs dictate it.  Just hope I’m healthy enough for a Christmas party tomorrow night.
